Digital Dollhouse does not condition a child’s participation in any of our online activities on the disclosure of more information than is reasonably necessary to participate in the activity. Below is a description of how Digital Dollhouse collects and uses information from users.
Registration
In order to create an account, Digital Dollhouse requires users to provide a Member Name (not their real name), the parent’s email address, and a password. Digital Dollhouse collects the parents’ email addresses primarily for our automated account activation and password retrieval systems and may use it to verify parental consent of children to use the site. We retain the right to communicate safety and privacy messages, general updates, and usability features via email. For special reasons, we may also send marketing materials.
Purchasing Subscriptions, ddCoins, or Gifts
In order to purchase a subscriptions or Digital Dollhouse Coins (ddCoins), Digital Dollhouse requires purchasers to provide first name, last name, street address, city, state, country, and postal code along with valid credit card number and owner’s name.
Invite-A-Friend
Digital Dollhouse members that are signed-in can invite friends who aren’t members to join by submitting the friends’ email addresses. Digital Dollhouse neither collects the member or recipient’s name nor allows member to freely type any information in the email message. Digital Dollhouse deletes the recipient’s email address after sending the invitation email.

Parental Rights
Parents can review their child’s personal information, have it deleted, and refuse to allow the further collection or use of the child’s information. Digital Dollhouse allows parents to manage all of the aspects of the child’s membership in the Parents Dashboard. At the Parents Dashboard, parents can edit the child’s profile; cancel or update the child’s subscription; manage orders; view the amount of their ddCoins; add ddCoins to the child’s account; and view the child’s friends list. In order to access this information, the parent must provide the child’s member name and password. If the parent has forgotten the password, the parent can send a request for the password here. Digital Dollhouse will then send to the current parent email address a message containing a link that will allow the parent to log in and change the account password. The link works only once and expires after one day. Nothing will happen if it’s not used. Parents can also request to review their child’s personal information, have it deleted, and refuse to allow the further collection or use of the child’s information by contacting Digital Dollhouse by phone, fax, email, or in writing at the address listed below. Please be sure to include your email address and a telephone number where we can reach you. To protect your child’s privacy and security, we will take reasonable steps to help verify your identity before granting you access to the information that we collect and maintain about your child. Please note that this may require that we cancel and delete your child’s account.
Your California Privacy Rights
Beginning on January 1, 2005, California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits our users who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of our users’ personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
